They achieved worldwide success in 1978 with their U.S. number one single "Baby Come Back" leaving an indelible mark on pop history. Ronn Moss, star of television, film and music since 1987 plays the part of Ridge Forrester on the soap opera 'The Bold and the Beautiful. Born in Los Angeles, Ronn was attracted to rock and roll at an early age, testing himself first with the drums, then guitar and finally with the electric bass. In 1976, Ronn joined three other musicians to form the band PLAYER. Their work soon attracted the attention of music impresario Robert Stigwood, who signed them to RSO Records by producing their first two albums 'Player' and 'Danger Zone'. Later, under the label Casablanca, they released their third album 'Room With A View'. They toured with the likes of Gino Vannelli, Boz Scaggs, Eric Clapton, Heart and Little River Band. In the first three weeks of 1978, their single "Baby Come Back" occupied the first position in the national pop charts. After leaving Player in 1981, Ronn followed his interest in acting, studying with Charles Conrad, Chris O'Brien, Kathleen King and Peggy Feury. He debuted in his first movie "Hearts of Armor", an Italian production set in Rome and Sicily. In 1996 he released a fifth CD with Peter Beckett, entitled "Lost in Reality". In 2004 he took part in the Italian film "Christmas in Love" directed by Blacks Parenti. Peter Beckett is an English musician and songwriter who wrote songs for many other recording artists. Best known as singer and guitarist of the soft rock group Player, he scored a resounding success in the United States in 1977 with "Baby Come Back".
